About us

Keith & Jennifer Heffron

On November 3, 2015, Keith & I met (on a match.com date!). We married 11 1/2 months later on October 14, 2016. Our first trip together was up to the North Carolina town of Highlands, a short two hour trip from our home in Atlanta. We fell in love and have come back to the area numerous times since then. From our first trip, we have had a dream to buy a house up here and make it our own. We are living that dream now and having a great time doing so!

When we first met, one of the things we loved about each other was that we both loved doing projects around the house. Keith had a stint owning a restoration company for a while, so has had his general contractors license and can do just about anything once he sets his mind to it. I have no official design experience but have renovated three houses (this is my fourth) and have done the design each time. I think I’m pretty good and it, and I hope you’ll think the same!

So a little bit more about us. As I mentioned, we live in Atlanta most of the time with our sweet miniature dachshund, Chloe. Keith is a partner at TechCXO, a firm which does part-time and interim CFO, CMO, CSO, CTO … CXO work! I work for SAP, a large German software company, where I manage relationships with our Solutions Extensions partners. I know…what the heck does that mean? Well, SAP sells some other software solutions that are not our own IP. I manage two of those relationships globally. SAP is the best company I’ve ever worked for and I hope to stay until I retire.

Now, back to the story about this house. Some family friends of mine have had a second home up here for the past 5 or 6 years, and when we first visited it, we were captivated by the view. It’s simply stunning. We told them if they ever decided to sell, we wanted first dibs on the place. That dream came true early 2020 and we are now beginning the process of renovating the house to make it truly ours.
